Upcycled hardcover book
Unlined bright white 70 lb text weight paper.
Several feet of hand-dyed linen bookbinding thread.
I removed the cover from the original book, taking care to preserve the original end paper to reattach to the new pages. The pages are hand-cut with rounded corners, and bound snugly in a long-stitch style to allow the stitching pattern to be visible on the spine of the book. I used linen bookbinding thread hand-dyed with roasted grains. The cover is red with gold lettering.
