This favorite perennial produces long stems with showy, spurred blossoms in shades
of red, blue, yellow and white from late Spring to early Summer.
Ideal for borders and woodland gardens as well as for floral arrangements.
Hardy flowers from Zones 4 to 10.
Sow seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost date for earliest blossoms. Cover
seeds 1/8 inch of soil and keep evenly moist. Transplant seedlings outdoors to a sunny
to partial shade location with moist, well-drained soil after all danger of frost is past. Seeds
may also be sown directly outdoors after danger of frost is past.
