We all need a sure thing for those days that we simply cannot decide on what to wear or when we just don’t have the time to think too much about our outfit. This Overlay Top is one of those items in my wardrobe, it can be worn all year around and in two different ways and it so light, carefree and yet stylish that not only does it feel great to wear but the compliments that come your way while you’re wearing will make you feel even better. The design of this top was a redesign of a pattern that was meant for a stretch fabric, I liked the pattern and had made it in a stretch but I really wanted one in linen and so I drafted up a new version to suit my requirements. At the time I had no idea how much I would love this top and just how versatile it would be.
About the top:
The design of this top allows you to wear as winged sleeves or a sleeveless top. Wear it over a singlet in summer or long sleeve tee in winter, with jeans or a jersey dress… your options are only limited by your imagination.
This top is also available in flax linen.
The fabric is a premium quality 100% linen, the beauty of linen is that is softens with use and takes on a unique character of it’s own based on how you wear it.
