Although she succumbed to tuberculosis at age thirty, she did complete three major illustration projects: "Old French Fairy Tales" by the Comtesse de Segur (1920), Nathaniel Hawthorne's "Tanglewood Tales" (1921), and an extremely successful edition of "Arabian Nights" (1928). She passed away while completing a fourth assignment, "Myths and Legends" which sadly was never completed.
The images I have used for this banner are from Old French Fairy Tales and Tanglewood Tales.
These beautiful images have been hand printed onto a cotton/linen blend fabric and then sewn into a dark brown bias tape. Each flag is two layers of fabric and I have stitched around the edge of each flag with red thread to prevent fraying. There is an image on both sides and when hung in a window it will glow!
I can make this with more flags if you would like it to be longer. It is $2.00 per additional flag - just convo me and I will make a custom listing for you.
The Nitty Gritty:
+ linen/cotton blend
+ nine flags
+ each flag measures 4 " by 5.25"
+ sewn to dark brown bias tape
+ pearl snap closures at each end to make a large loop for easy hanging
+ distance from end to end with the snaps done up to form loops is 5 feet.
+ image is on both sides so it can be hung across a room or in a window
+ ready to ship
