The collection that this dress is part of was inspired by the amazing tilework and art installations created for the Montreal metro system when it was built in the 1960s. Using photos of handmade tiles and graphics I created based on the tile work in the Peel metro stop I created the artwork that is featured on the center panel of this dress. The artwork is digitally printed on organic cotton medium weight jersey, is colourfast and will not bleed.

The rest of the dress is made up of a knitted stripe that I'm in love with. It has a bit of texture to it and a bit of spandex so it holds its shape nicely. The neck and armholes are finished in soft rayon viscose jersey.
