Rosamund is a sweetly feminine beret done in a highly textured stitch pattern that resembles little flowers, and is topped with a plump pom pom. It’s designed to fit 18” dolls with a head circumference of approximately 12 ¼”, like American Girl. It’s worked in the round on double pointed needles, and requires minimal finishing. It would go with jeans and a casual top just as well it is does with a dress. The difficulty level of this pattern is: Intermediate - unusual stitch pattern is used, requires the use of double pointed needles, knitting in the round, increasing, decreasing.
What you will need in order to knit this pattern:
* 135 yards of fingering weight yarn
* Set of double pointed needles in size US 2 (3.00mm) (or size needed to obtain gauge)
* A darning needle for weaving in ends
