The Merlot Red Wisteria Japanese Floral Scarf is a sophisticated and elegant accessory to add to your beautiful fashion. I hand dyed and hand painted this dark wine red mysterious scarf, wanting to create the solid color silk scarf. I carefully hand dyed a white silk chiffon scarf to the dark burgundy red, set the color, washed the scarf. After I re-stretched the silk scarf on the frame, I drew Japanese Wisteria Designs using Gold Resist on both ends of the scarf.
This is an ample sized hand painted silk scarf. Enjoy wearing this lovely scarf around your neck as well as a shoulder wrap.
All of my hand painted silk scarves I create for you are a very only ones on this planet. I never use guides. I always paint by hand, and never use stencils. If I ever paint a same design again, it will never be the same look.

This scarf just came off the frame. It still has the pulled by hooks look. Your new scarf will be washed one more time and ironed before shipping. The scarf will go back to the normal rectangle shape.

I suggest the following care instruction for this scarf: Wash gently in cold water with a drop of natural soap. Rinse throughly. To dry: use a clean puffy bath towel, put the scarf in between the towel and gently pat dry. Hand dry in shade, not under the bright sun. If you want to iron, have a thin towel on top of the scarf, iron in low setting. Please keep the scarf away from clorox and alcohol.
The scarf will be shipped with the caring instruction.
