Vintage Leaves Tea Cup & Saucer with Hankie and Tussie Mussie Corsage Pin Gift Set Fall Colors Squirrel Nuts - A charming gift set for a lady who loves all things vintage! The set includes a beautiful vintage tea cup and saucer set, a vintage linen hankie, and a sweet tussie mussie pin that I made with vintage millinery flowers to match the cup and hankie perfectly!
The white saucer with leaf print measures approx. 5.75” across and the matching tea cup is 4.5” across (including the handle) and 2.25” high. There is no maker mark on either piece, but it probably was imported from Japan in the 1950s.There is little discernable wear to the set. Fine edged gold gilding is in good condition on both pieces. There are no cracks or crazing on either piece – it’s in lovely condition to use or display.
The beautiful scallop-edged linen hankie is approx. 14.5” square and has a bright leaf print in the rich colors of Autumn. It’s in mint condition and there are no imperfections, stains or tears anywhere! It’s bright colors and theme pairs beautifully with this tea cup set.
Finally, I made a matching millinery tussie mussie pin with a vintage velvet leaves in Fall shades of rust, copper, peach in the background. Vintage deep copper velvet flowers surround a tiny vintage spun cotton squirrel with a fluffy chenille tail. He is excited to find two beautiful vintage spun cotton lacquered acorns. A spike of vintage wired paper leaves in orange, gold, and green gives scale and adds interest. The golden cone has a bar pin back, and together with the arrangement it holds, measures 5.25” high and 3” across. It’s a perfect size to pin to your lapel, handbag, or anywhere a touch of vintage Autumn whimsy would brighten your day. Sweet and dainty vintage at its very best!
Your set will be beautifully (and carefully) packaged together in a sturdy square gift box and tied with a matching bow (similar to the last photo) – it is ready for gifting right away. I’ll also include a gift tag made with a scanned image from my own collections – let me know the occasion and I’ll pick the perfect one.
