"I Told You I Was Freaky" is a print of a colored pencil drawing I created. His first rendering was as a tiny little ACEO, but I liked the concept and composition so much that I turned him into a larger drawing. I've gotten a surprising amount of compliments on him from people who say things like, "I usually find those bugs so ugly... but you made him look pretty." That was the point :) I wanted people to see the beauty of this insect, not freakishness- hence the title of the piece, also inspired from the Flight of the Conchords song of the same name.
The standard 8"x10" size is easily matted into an 11"x14" mat and frame. A great size for any room!
The print will come to you in a protective plastic sleeve with a hard backing. It has been signed by me.
The print is unmatted, but if you would like a certain mat color combination, let me know- I may have some here and I can add them to this listing before you purchase!
A single mat will add $3 to the price of this item.
