The knot in this brush is 24mm silver tip badger hair which is the best of the best. Badger hair holds water better than any other bristle and silver tip is the finest of them all. It will give you many years of service. The handmade acrylic handle is a beautiful fiery red with a touch of gold undertone combination that blends together in a beautiful swirling pattern. This handle will not deteriorate over time. The overall height of the brush is 4 inches, the handle is 2 inches tall and the knot is 2 inches tall. I set my knots a little deeper so as to make them just a tiny bit stiffer making the lathering much easier without any loss of comfort. Shaving brushes make a great groomsman gift!
