For many years amethyst was my favorite stone. I wore so much purple to work with the amethyst color theme. Earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings, stones in the pocket and more. Amethyst is THAT fantastic of a stone to inspire such love for it.

I have taken smooth amethyst chips and filled a glass vial with them. Wear to bring the powers of amethyst to you. This necklace also works wonderfully as a pendulum when unclasped.

Amethyst is believed to protect one from poison, to help with alcohol addiction, to relieve headaches, to bring about pleasant dreams, to ward off fear, guard against guilt, opening psychic centers, in aid with meditation, to focus healing powers, protecting against negative and malicious energy and more. Amethyst is quite a handy "tool" to have.

The necklace measures approximately 24 inches long just with the chain. The glass vial itself measures about two inches long. The vial is corked, sealed with an epoxy and sealed again with silver sealing wax.
