The candle cast its green light on the walls as she stumbled dreamily though the manor, her gown trailing cobwebs as she made her way through the gallery to the empty room. Opening the black door, she drew back in horror as the candle sputtered and a thin cry escaped her slender throat.
Original gothic art based on my lifelong obsession with horror, haunted houses, old book covers and movies, and things that go bump in the night...and original gothic novels like "Northanger Abbey" by Jane Austen and "The Mysteries of Udolpho" by Ann Radcliffe.
The image was taken directly from a digital image scan of the painting and reproduced on high quality matte photo paper using a traditional photographic process. It will last 100 years in typical home display, 200 years in dark storage. The paper used is Kodak Supra Endura Professional Photographic Paper. Listing is for the repro only, no frame or mat are included.
There is a 1/4 inch white border around the image, so most frames/mats will not overlap the actual image. If you would prefer a print where the image has no borders please convo me and I can prepare a borderless version for you. Other options such as glossy paper are also available.
I will ship in a firm, non-bendable mailer or with cardboard backing to ensure safety, via first class mail. Priority mail available if desired. I will sign and date on the back.
