ORDERING: Please specify in the notes to seller what size I should make the hat (please follow instructions below for measuring to insure proper fit) and allow 5-7 days for me to make it (any special delays will be posted in shop announcements - please check there if time is of the essence!). Please also note your color choices in the notes to seller on the checkout page. You can change any or all of the colors. In the 5th photo, you can see some other beak colors and if you'd like to see other yarn colors I have readily available, please look at the color options for the flower in my "crocheted beanie with flower and button" listing.
MEASURING: Place tape measure around your head where the bottom edge of the hat will rest and nite measurement in inches. This is your head circumference. Next, place the end of the tape measure on your forehead where you’d like the bottom edge of the hat to be and measure up over the top of your head and down toward your neck (in the back) to where you’d like the edge of the hat to rest on the back of your head. This is your hat length. I will divide the length number in half to determine how long to make your hat. I will do my best to make your hat as close to these measurements as possible.
If you are purchasing this hat as a gift and do not have a way of measuring the recipient’s head, please let me know that and we can make an estimate based on age and relative size. I cannot guarantee fit using this method.
CARE: I recommend hand washing, reshaping and laying flat to dry.
