I was thinking about mobiles when I made these place mats. The background squares are grasshopper and forest green and two shades of teal. (The colors on the left are the same - green on top, blue on the bottom, while on the left two have the green on top, blue on the bottom and two are the opposite.) The mobile pieces are warm, complimentary colors - buttercream, mustard, golden yellow, orange and orangy-red and each is appliquéd separately using a tight zig zag stitch. The back is a printed lime batik. They measure 18" x 12" and are 100% cotton. I’ve used Pellon craft interfacing to give them body and strength. There are two rows of top stitching all around the edge to hold them tight and smooth through washing after washing and drying after drying. They are made to be used.
I use only Cherrywood Fabrics (top only). They are expertly dyed and the colors stay bright and true wash after wash.
They come as a set of 4. If you need more than 4, I can make as many as you need.
I will happily do a custom order, so if you see a design you like, but you want different colors, please convo with me.
