As both a knitter and a ceramicist I was overjoyed to find two molds last year for yarn mugs – this is one of them. I call this the “messy” yarn ball mug because if you look at it and think of wrapping up yarn into a ball, it looks like whoever wrapped this one was sure in a hurry! It may not be the largest cup in the world but it is going to make *the* perfect gift for a yarnie!
This mug was glazed with non-toxic glazes and can be cleaned with hot soapy water or run through the dishwasher.
Approximate Height: 2 inches
Approximate Width: 3.75 inches at lip of mug
Approximate Weight: 7 ounces
Will Hold Approximately: 6 ounces of liquid
I was happy to come into this Boothe mold late last year (I’m having trouble researching a date on it but I believe it came out some time in the 1980’s). If you are interested in one of a different color than offered, or a set, please feel free to contact me for a custom order. Custom orders need a turnaround of at least 3-4 weeks to allow time for multiple firings.
