WAYS TO USE YOUR MIRROR
QUESTIONS: You can use your mirror to seek answers to any questions you may have. Before you begin your session take time to fine tune your question. Vague questions usually receive vague answers. You will receive a better response from, “How will my life be impacted if I accept my new job offer?” than you will from “Should I leave my job?”
ASTRAL PROJECTION: In order to astral project with your mirror relax before your mirror and envision the location you want to visit. Allow yourself to relax and feel yourself pulled through the mirror to your desired location.
MAGICK: Magick is not achieved on the material plane but on the energy planes. You can use your mirror to perform spells on the astral plane or to enhance a spell casting you are performing here in the material realm.
To enhance a spell working here on the material, perform your spell with your mirror nearby and after you complete your spell turn to your mirror and allow yourself to feel as though you are stepping into its dark embrace. Next see yourself performing the same spell working, but on the energy side of the veil. When the spell working is complete release the energy of your spell and step back out of the mirror.
To perform magick in the astral realm complete all the energetic preparation you normally would for a magickal working and then project yourself into the mirror to perform your spell. When the spell working is complete release the energy of your spell and step back out of the mirror.
PAST LIVES AND FUTURE EVENTS: You can use your mirror to experience your past lives and future events. Sit down with your intent clear. Be willing to observe and document what you see. You will need to discern whether you are seeing an actual event or if you are being shown symbols. Look for specific details that you can research at a later date, ask your mirror for clarity, and pay attention to your gut reaction to what you are observing.
CLARIFYING YOUR SYMBOLS: As you gather your library of symbols you can use your mirror to help you fine tune your understanding of their meanings. Sit down to scry with this intent in mind, choose one of your symbols and ask if a symbol means what you think. If you have not yet ascertained a symbol for yes or no do so now. Look into your mirror and request, “Show me yes.” Notice any changes, then request “Show me no.” Once again note any changes. Then begin asking for clarification of your symbols. “Does a house symbolize my life?” “Is a cigar a cigar?” And so on.
