Every inch of this heavy duty hard wood rolling pin has been emblazoned with an original design, which includes birds, blossoms, bleeding heart flowers, abstract shell and scallop designs, and more.
This pin is about 2 1/4 inches wide, and 16 inches long (measurement including handles).
It has a nice smooth rolling function, (handles and pin are soundly attached and have perfect functional mobility) perfect for rolling out tortillas, or the pastry of your choice.
This older pin was purchased second hand, and in great condition.
Once I cleaned and sanded it, I burned the design directly onto every inch of the pin with wood burning tools. Then the pin was coated with several layers of food safe hard drying oil.
You may display this piece (keep out of direct sunlight to prevent fading) or use it to cook with, or both. It is extremely sturdy and will give the owner years of functional beauty.
