Inspired by the cozy piled nests of furry, hibernating animals I thought of how, in cold weather, I really enjoy piling up lots of warm blankets and cozy-ing up with my loved ones and sharing a bottle of wine over a board game or puzzle. There are a few ideas of 'nest' in this piece with the criss-crossing beadwork up the stem, the layered nest of beads at the bottom, and the spiking wreath of beads surrounding the ball at the top. And of course the warmth of a glass of wine in your belly can make a nest even cozier. :)
