Elizabeth St. Hilaire Nelson is traveling to the Lone Star State to share her unique collage technique she has termed "Paper Paintings." In this 2-day workshop, Elizabeth will teach students several methods she uses to paint her own paper. Using those newly painted papers, Elizabeth will then teach students a collage application that is modeled after the techniques used in traditional painting with an emphasis placed on creating form through light and shadow.

No prior collage experience is necessary. Some painting would be helpful, but not imperative.

Workshop details:

Dates: Friday/Saturday, October 26 & 27 from 10:00 - 4:00
or Sunday/Monday, October 28 & 29 from 10:00 - 4:00
The material covered will be the same for each set of dates.

Cost: $225.00 for both days with lunch provided. Payment plans available for early registrants.

Place: Nizza Mosaic Studio & Gallery - Houston, Texas
