In the Democratic Republic of the Congo local moonshine is made from cassava or plantains and is known as Lotoko. This is a lovely example of what a jug for Lotoko might look like. It is thrown from porcelain and features a loopy, study handle. It features the stamp of the Balancing Monkee and the Hapi Hut on the lower rear representing the brand. Looking closely you will se two hearts drifting up from the hut. Overall it is featured in a light speckled green and topped with a cork. It stands about 8" tall and about 4" at the base. Fully functional.
