An outstanding Art Deco cocktail ring with an interesting setting. The ring has a large, oval face set with a hand cut, purple glass stone. The faceting on both sides of the stone is exquisite and there are no nicks or scratches to speak of. The setting is sterling silver with foliate elements on the shoulders and framing the stone. Of particular note are the four large leaves, cast in great detail, that spread along the sides of the setting. There is some tarnish but the ring polished up nicely overall and condition is excellent.
