Rock Cairn - Engraved Stone Pendant - A Celebration of the Journey - Moonlight Jasper

This rock cairn design is symbolic of marking your path, or marking an accomplishment or milestone. Rock cairns are often seen along hiking paths in the desert, red rock areas, glaciers and other barren lands or and are used to mark the trail. You can also find them on mountain summits. It is customary for hikers to add a stone to cairns to help maintain them.

The image was deep etched (sandblasted) on the face of the stone and filled with black metallic paint fill. The pendant stone measures 25x40mm (0.98 x 1.57 in). The lovely bail is sterling silver (0.925).
