I made the top of the desk from Macassar Ebony Veneer with fine yellow cowhide and inserted a writing area with white holly maple strings inlayed into the surface.
Each leg is made from 7 layers of tapered strips of tiger maple which were glued and bent to form a graceful curve, then carefully joined into two pairs of identical leg support.
Black accent strips in the center of the legs are made from Macassar Ebony and the round bottom end is made from Wenge.
The single drawer is hand dovetailed and lined with a fine felt. It has a divider and small pen box built in.
Overall measurement: 62"w x 31"d x 30"h (157cms x 79cms x 76cms)
