a vintage 1912 book cover (tennyson) is used as a canvas. left intact are the penciled in notes of a student, in particular the phrase - the circumstances under which these lines are given and what they mean. then a constellation is arranged from vintage faux pearls, still partially strung and then stitched with vintage thread to hand made paper. they form, what i call, an inner constellation. this is the third of a series and i call it worth.
book cover is 5 3/4 x 4 1/4" and is left unfinished so you can feel the texture of the book, paper, pearls, thread and string. it is signed and dated on the back.
