I grew up in South Dakota and have always been obsessed with the tales of the old west. My parents would take me to Deadwood and I was smitten by the the waitresses and card dealers running around in their little get ups. I have always loved films and shows about the gold rush days and had admiration for the stories of the ladies of Deadwood, who not only held their own in a world of outlaws, but in many cases, called the shots. These pants are a modern rendition of the bloomer pants that the Deadwood gals would wear in those days, allowing them to ride horse without out having to sit side saddle. They are like a skirt, pants, and shorts all in one!
These are all one standard length and fall to be gouchos on tall girls. The cinching is adjustable on the thighs with adjusts the length to accommodate any inseam. The double layered legs flow beautifully when you spin and dance making them great for performers.
I have run out of the cream lace shown in this pic but am now using a different, cotton cream lace that I assure you is just as lovely, if not more beautiful.
