Elena is a high shawl collar cardigan hand knit in a soft chunky wool nylon blend. Currently one of her kind, this sweater is made to fit a 36" to 38" bust with ease. The oversized collar can be worn as a hood, a high shawl collar, or have it lay lazily over your shoulders and half way down your back.
Best part, she is knit in one piece! Virtually seamless for easy layering and wearability. The armholes are shaped using raglan techniques that add decorative moving decreases along the bulk free seams. There are deep waist pockets at the side. An invisible separating zipper in pale baby blue complements the grey and is completely hand sewn. Triangular detailing at the neck is a design element I included to accentuate the back of the piece. Crochet corded trimming at the edge creates a clean finished look.
The cuffs are one of the elements I love the most. You have the option of holding your hands at the wrist in case of that always timely missing pair of gloves. Pull the collar up over your head, up around your chin or drop it over your shoulders. You are sure to discover your own special way to style the incredible drape you'll find in this fabric!
