This dress is handmade from a vintage Simplicity pattern #3844. The fabric is an avocado green satin with a matte raw silk finish. The belt is a shiny gray satin. All seams are serged, the bottom seam is to be finished at time of purchase in the length you would prefer. The measurements are: 33 inches (84 cm) at the bust, 26 inches (66cm) at the waist, with a 21 inch (53 cm) long zipper up the back. The pleated skirt begins at the natural waistline and from there is 27.5 inches (69 cm) long, before the final hemming. The dress form in the picture is a size 6, so measure yourself carefully, the fabric does not stretch at all. The belt holds it's 4 inch (10 cm) tall shape with a piece of boning on either side and is fastened with 4 hook and eye fasteners, it is a separate piece from the dress- wear the dress with or without it. The dress may be washed in the washer on a delicate cycle and hung to dry.
