This glass heart took a lot of time to make. Each piece of glass was cut, ground, wrapped in copper foil, and then soldered together. The solder finish has been left silver, the natural color of solder.
The heart measures approximately 8"x8" at its widest points. I do not recommend suspending this heart from a suction cup. They have the tendency to eventually pull away from the window. I suspend mine with fishing line (knotted tightly 4+ times; ribbon will work, too) and looped over the window lock. A brad or tack can be used as well in the window frame.
