Head, neck, back, tail, legs and each individual toe is all fully wired and reinforced, and fully poseable. She's made of soft, smooth acrylic yarn, and her tail is comprised of beautiful bronze-colored real silk velvet hand-sewn over wire, accented with glass beads. The fur is feather down-soft acrylic fiber hand-sewn into place, then carefully glued and sewn in a second time with bead embellishments for maximum stability, and her gold-bronze highlights are iridescent pigment in a fabric paint base (it’s not coming off, in other words). She's just a touch short of 12 inches in length, and stands about 4.5-5 inches tall (or taller, should her legs be straightened a bit more), and is 2 inches wide at her widest point. Girl's got hips, you know.
I cannot stress enough that Aithne is NOT INTENDED FOR CHILDREN. While the fur and eyes are securely in place, nothing will hold up to determined tugging. And as with any wire, enough quick bending will eventually weaken and break the metal, so please always use a careful hand.
