The Machine turns the gears of industry, burning down the world of wood and earth and transforming it into one of iron and stone.

He cackles like a madman as the very world underneath him is chewed to bits.


The Machine was created with nineteen different recycled watch stems. Each stem was snipped into the correct size for a "bone" in each finger, and each bone was soldered together with lead free silver bearing solder to produce a finger. When all fingers were created, they were soldered together onto a watch plate. After the hand was formed and shaped into a clawlike grasp, it was soldered onto a large antique brass gear. A watch gear holds the entire assembly onto the pendant bail. This is a very special and one of a kind piece, never to be reproduced exactly.

The Machine is 16mm wide and 20mm tall. It comes on an 18" antiqued silver plated chain with links measuring 1.5mm. Longer or shorter chains can be made to order, so let us know in the checkout section if you require something different.
