Here's a dramatic vintage sailor dress with a tea-length full skirt and big puffed sleeves. Super ruffly double collar plunges to a deep vee neck over a double-breasted button front. Elastic waist. The white trim is tiny, stitched-down grosgrain ribbon. Shown with and without a crinoline.

Fabric is very soft brushed cotton that looks and feels like woven rayon (but is not). Deep royal blue.

Condition is excellent to very good.* Has been freshly cleaned and pressed.

Size: Tag says 7/8. Manni is a US 6-8 and this is a little snug around the waist. Garment measurements:

*This vintage sailor dress is in excellent to very good condition. A frayed spot on one of the collars has been mended and is nearly invisible. The fabric is so soft and drapey that in a couple of areas the hemline is slightly asymmetrical. This shows in the photos and does not affect wearability.
