Because the paper is coated on one side, the back side is neutral white, with some mottled red that bleeds through occasionally. We're not sure what the red coating is, but it's definitely not colorfast, and can rub off. They are strung with red twine, which is colorfast. Each sheet is different and not at all consistent.

The large heart is approximately 4-5" across and the smaller one is 2-3"
