Small 25cm long (including wire for chandelier), 22cm wide, 11cm depth, paper fabric assemblage dress.
A small three dimensional assemblage comprising a backdrop fashioned from the remnants of an old book (Emma - Jane Austen). The piece represents Emma's bedroom, with light streaming in from the numerous windows painted on the background. The chandelier is made from many pearl and glass beads. Standing out from the book is a 3d dressing table with mirrors with silver and gold leaf on them, with acrylic and pencil worked in. Opposite the dressing table is an empire line dress in a pale lilac material adorned with pearly and glass beads.
