Three branches of laurel leaves bound with a bow and kissed with two crystal rhinestones was a brooch and is now the focal point for this stunning art necklace. An additional brass leaf (was an earring) dangles beside the laurel bouquet on the necklace chain.
16" of vintage goldtone link chain ascends to two french blue glass, bezel set connectors and is finished with a new new goldtone ornate hook and brass jump ring.
Using laurel leaves intimates victory (victors of a battle or a competition would receive laurel crowns) and being learned (laurel wreaths still are presented in some places to graduating masters students). This OOAK necklace would be a perfect gift for a university graduate.
All components are vintage except for the jump rings and goldtone hook.
Total length is 21".
