a set of two procelain cups from the same era, from a more recent time, the showa period (1926 to 1989), but from two different regions. the one with an inscription of luck and fortune is from central japan (hyogo prefecture) and is an izushi porcelain. the other, with a drawing of an exotic yet in a way very modest, plant which you can find all over japan, is an arita procelain.
