This set of lowercase manuscript sandpaper letters are mounted on a 3 inch wide by 5 inch high piece of 1/8 inch thick birch plywood.
The consonants are RED and the vowels are BLUE.
Each letter has a starting point to help the child recognize where to begin tracing the letter with their fingers.
The wood and the sandpaper are cut out with a laser engraver for a nice precision cut each time.
I use 150 grit sandpaper for the letters.
