Romantic and gorgeous belle epoque circa 1910 wedding dress in cream silk and lace. Deep V neckline most likely had inset panel at one time, but a slip , lace bandeau bra or lace cami could easily fill in.
Lovely loose knit lace has a cobweb look to it, that turns floral towards edges. Lace covers entire bodice top, except same silk as dress V panel on back. Waist is cinched in by a cummerbund style, rosette embellished sash made of same silk fabric as dress. Lace continues down around knee area and is topped by another sash/rosette drop hanging from belt. All lace edges are scalloped, including small lace at collar. Front skirt has sewn down edge, which gives dress a faux "wrap" look, and has billowy gathers on right hand side.
Hook and eye closure at waist, no label.
Dress is in good vintage condition for an item this old, but does have unfortunate multiple stains around bottom of dress and at armpits, that may or may not come out with professional cleaning. There are also tears in armpits and slight waiter or sweat stains that are less visible due to placement or light in color- please message me for detailed photos of damage if interested in the garment. Dress has been steam cleaned only- dress is sold as is!
