I learned to make ribbon flowers many (many) years ago from a friend that worked in renaissance festivals and did SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) costuming. It's been a while, but I had the urge to break into my ribbon stash ribbon and give it another go.
I love this ribbon. I wish I could make the sparkle come through in the pictures. Every move catches the light in a different way. The ribbon is a popping hot pink. The brooch fastens with a gold pin back.
This flower is about 1 3/4" (4 1/2cm) across.
The rosette is so flexible. It could be a hair band decoration, purse accent, highlight to a pet collar or a boutonniere or corsage. Items in the collage are for example only and not intended to be part of this sale.
All items are made in a smoke free home. We don't have cats or other pets (as we don't count our daughter's imaginary friends). We do have one short hair dog (chihuahua/terrier mix). She doesn't help with the crafting, but her 'dogginess' is in the air.
