*Shed antlers are cruelty free. Every year deer shed their antlers and re-grow new ones. The shed antlers are found lying in the woods.
The Mule Deer is slightly different than the Whitetail Deer (what most of my antlers look like). Mule Deer are larger and are usually found only West of the Mississippi River. The antlers are generally shaped like this, or close to it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mule_deer
