It's difficult to tell the exact provenance of this kind of trim, as I find them at the flea markets in lots of sewing supplies. I can only imagine that they were the treasures of some sweet lady who made her own towels, or pretty dresses for her daughter.
Because of the nature of these finds, some lengths of trim may include small discoloured or damaged areas. This only adds to their charm! This is a one of a kind assortment. Once it's gone, it's gone!
There are so many options for using this kind of trim. As edging on jeans, tea towels or napkins; embellishments on your scrapbook pages, handmade cards or in mixed media; as well as creative ides for home décor. What will you do with your trim?
