This pair is Chinese in origin and dates to the turn of the century. The earrings were modified at a much later date, having been converted to French wires. The metal is an unmarked coin Chinese silver, a lower grade than sterling. There is some minor chipping to the enamel. One of the lanterns has a significant dent in the filigree and the other is sort of flattened. For an antique Chinese export item wear is to be expected.
Measurements: length 3" including fringe.
Condition: Fair to good, age appropriate wear to enamel
