So I have designed and constructed this tote bag to be the workhorse of my wardrobe. It is in the simple shape of a shopper bag, and is absolutely perfect for long Metro rides to work or long walks downtown.
It has a tailored and trim appearance, from the formal exterior upholstery weight fabric, to the soft interior cotton lining. It stands up on its own, structurally, and has feet to keep it from sitting directly on the floor. It is large enough to hold what you need without losing its shape.
This bag serves multiple functions, and the neutral gold color goes with anything. It’s a winner, just like you.
Features include three types of interfacing: 1) a stiff interfacing fused to the outer fabric to give the bag a crisp shape; 2) a fleece interfacing fused to the inner lining for cushioning; and 3) a very stiff "timtex" material sewed in the base of the bag for structure and stability. There is also one interior pocket, and gold color metal hardware, including four feet on the bottom.
