Meet Mr. Fox! This little fellow is sharp, witty, and ever so playful. Will you be his new companion?
This red fox has been lovingly handcrafted using the process of needle felting. Each animal I create involves several hours of meticulous labor. To achieve a sculpted form, a barbed needle is repeatedly jabbed into a ball of wool roving. The fibers tangle and become increasingly dense and result in the "felted" appearance. To add additional stability, Mr. Fox's legs have been reinforced with cotton cord.
This fox is toffee in color with an ivory neck and chest. The tips of his ears, his nose, and his legs are black. He is made of 100% wool and has amber glass eyes. He measures 5 1/2" in length, and he stands at about 3".
While this lovable creature is very soft, he needs to be handled with care and is not meant as a toy. Under adult supervision however, he could add a little magic to playtime...
