Opt for a black, brown or retro barkcloth shade to give it even more 1950s style! Its fun form and color would allow it to function brilliantly in a child's room or the nursery as well! Keep the white shade, with or without additional trim, or opt instead for a shade that ties in with a retro or atomic nursery motif. So fun!!

CONDITION:

~This lamp is in excellent vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks, crazing, or evidence of
repairs. There is some brass patina on the neck column, which adds to the retro allure for
most people However, I will be happy to restore the brass to nearly new condition if you prefer
or swap out with new, standard quality hardware. Just convo
to let me know. (May extend turnaround time prior to shipping.)
~ I acquired this lamp without viable wiring, it was rewired for photos with a standard, ivory vinyl
electrical cord and plug and new brass socket and harp saddle. Therefore, it is ready to ship
immediately if you like the ivory cord! However, if you desire a different color cord than ivory, a
substitution for your preferred standard color is complementary!

Re-Wire Information:

~I use brand new, high quality electrical components and lamp parts (very often an improvement over the original)—never pre-packaged lamp kits!
~For lamps that benefit from the retention of the OUTER SOCKET CASING only, especially if the socket bears the sticker of the original designer or manufacturer, I will salvage the outer socket casing but replace its old electrical components with brand new components.
~For buyers interested in retaining all original parts for the sake of absolute authenticity, please convo to let me know PRIOR to making purchase!
CORD CHOICES:

Standard: Brown, black, old gold (matte, muted), bright gold (clear coating over yellow-gold), silver/clear (clear coating over silver), and ivory (when I can get it!)

Cloth-covered cording is available for these lamps as well at a minimal "per foot" upcharge.
