I hand painted a elegant and pretty scarf at a super affordable price*. This is a delicate and pretty scarf to wrap around your neck, or hair. The beautiful colors and sleek design of Sumi Painting will complement your face and your fashion. It won't stress your wallet and will be a cute additions to your accessories. 100% Silk Chiffon.
I am a trained Sumi (Traditional Japanese Painting) artist. When I paint in Sumi mode, I let my hand and the brush do its work. The process is very unforgiving so I need strong focus and clear intention. Sumi allows a beautiful moment to manifest a timeless object. It is true magic.
Made of light chiffon, these scarves are lightly painted by me using silk paints and signed using rose gold non toxic resist. Each scarf comes packed in a clear envelope, with care instructions.
*This one of a kind, hand painted, signed, silk scarf is more affordable because… this lovely scarf is created using French Silk Paints (not dye) in an elegant Sumi style. Unlike French Silk Dye, French Silk Paints are not required to be prepared in certain ways and steamed for 3 and half hours. Made of light Silk Chiffon, this scarf is painted by me only once, using silk paints and signed using gold or black non toxic resist. The colors are set and won't wash off. Each scarf comes packed in a clear envelope, with care instructions.

I suggest the following care instruction for this scarf: Wash gently in cold water with a drop of natural soap. Rinse throughly. To dry: use a clean puffy bath towel, put the scarf in between the towel and gently pat dry. Hand dry in shade, not under the bright sun. If you want to iron, have a thin towel on top of the scarf, iron in low setting. Please keep the scarf away from clorox and alcohol.
