I found a small wooden bowl one day. I can't remember where. It sat on a shelf in my home until one day it sort of spoke to me. I primed it and then sat for 18 hours dotting it. One dot at a time to cover the inside (green) and the outside (Blue). I think it ended up being a total of 4 days...
and then came the orb. I thought..How groovy would it be to have a matching orb to put in or near the bowl. So I spent another 6 hours dotting the orb.
This is one of my favorite pieces I painted.
In 2011 it was on display at the Danforth Museum in Framingham MA...during their annual Juried Members Show. It looked really nice in the display they made.
The Bowl is made of Wood (9")
The Orb is Porcelain *roughly the size of a softball...100mm (3.93inch) Porcelain Orb
*For Decorative Purposes only
I will Not make another set like this...This is one of a kind.
If you own it...you own the only one like it!
