This vintage Ardmore S5-E, an Art Deco style desk or shelf clock from Westclox, was designed by Max Schlenker, Westclox's inhouse designer, and produced in 1948. The clock is square with a chocolate brown plastic case, square gold tone metal frames around the numbers and hands, and silver face. It has a second hand and also has a signal--a red dot--that lets you know if the clock has lost power (the dot is silver otherwise).

The clock is in very good condition and seems to work well, though it may lose a little time. The signal doesn't seem to work every time (you tilt the clock back to reset it). The cord is in very good condition. The case has some light scratches, and the face could use cleaning, but cosmetically it looks very good--and with such a wonderful style.

Size: 4 3/4 x 4 7/8 x 2 1/4 inches
