Solid copper Trophy-sized Chinook Salmon fish design 26 inches long by 9 inches high. Has the same life-like glass fish eye that taxidermists use. The spatter paint design channels my inner Jackson Pollock!

Hand shaped and formed from a repurposed copper sheet using metalworking chisels, punches, hammers, and mallets. The copper sheet was originally used for roof flashing and has naturally-aged patina.

Surface heated with a flame, treated with a blue-green patina solution to draw out the natural patina, and sprayed with a clear coating to preserve the color and finish. Then, spatter painted with turquoise-blue and rose-plum colored acrylic latex paints.

Copper wire attached for hanging. Signed by the artist on the back.

Includes a signed artist’s sheet showing how I create this metal art.

Check out my other fish listings and find her some friends!

Use and care: This piece can show inside or out. It looks great on a wall, fence, or boat shed.

Shipping: Sent by Priority Mail within the United States, so it will get to you in 2 to 3 days! Too large to ship internationally.
