In this picture Thoth is seated on his moon boat with the moon represented as the left eye of Horus being held by Thoth in the form a baboon.
The boat flows with a driftnet atop the glyph for the word heavens, the stern of the boat has many notches that stand for the counting of time.
The hieroglyphs above read, Thoth guardian of the moon, great scribe of the gods, possessor of truth.
Ancient legends say that he also wrote the Book Of Thoth that contains instruction for expanding consciousness and becoming immortal.It was so difficult to master that few practiced it, the book was sealed inside a gold box and taken to an unknown land where its not been seen for many thousands of years.
