This vintage book features Jot, a dot!
Jot the Dot, the TV Series, consisted of 30 four-minute episodes, which were syndicated between 1965 and 1981. JOT was produced by the Southern Baptist Radio and Television Commission (RATC).
The series was created by Ruth Byers and Ted Perry. Commissioned by Dr. Paul Stevens, to develop a television show with a simple moral lessons for young children. The Production of the first episode began in 1959, and released in 1965.
The episodes were syndicated throughout the world, translated into nineteen languages. JOT the Dot is now owned by FamilyNet Television.
The book describes itself as a guide for creative imagination and spiritual growth in children.
It measures 8" by 6".
The book tells a story of how Jot breaks a window while playing baseball & his conscience finally gets to him & he wants to pay for the broken window. & his father tells him
"...You'll feel much better when you do.
You know, the Bible says,
'You shall so that which is right and good in the sight of the Lord."
A good moral story for any young child to read.
This book is in great vintage condition, other than for someone had attached a piece of tape on the front of the book.
